Serendipity Graphics

Serendipity Projects is Graphic Design for web and print. I am part of a freelance collaboration which includes web designers, database programmers and other designers.

BACKGROUND - I have been a designer for more years than I care to remember and commenced as Serendipity Projects in 2004. I chose the word Serendipity because at the time I quit full time employment to have my daughter (who is now 4) and to be free to choose a more adventurous life; to cast around and see what came along by happenstance.

I have wide range of experience in various fields of graphic design, working at times for the public service, in my own business and as design and PREPRESS for an exhibition company. Since 2004 I have mainly working on WebSites with Boldacious WebDesign. Since Feb 2007 we have been travelling in WA. Since August 2008 I have been mainly working as an in house designer for Gumala Aboriginal Corporation in Tom Price.

I like to work with you, the client, to figure out the best visual language to represent your business and communicate your message, whether this be with a website, logo, report, poster, advertisement or display.

How will your clients get the most from your publication or website?
How do you want to be seen?
What do you want to say?
What is the best medium for you to say it?

Serendipity:-
The faculty of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for.

The word was first coined in 1754 by English author Horace Walpole. Serendip was the old name for Sri Lanka. He explained that this name was part of the title of a silly fairy tale, called The Three Princes of Serendip: as their highnesses travelled, they were always making discoveries, by accidents and sagacity, of things which they were not in quest of.
